Sweet Pea
Here is the layout I did for the Bobunny sketch challenge shown above.
Most of the paper I used for this challenge was from the love bandit line.
The flower, butterflies, title and journaling card
are all sprayed with a glimmer ( Ranger-perfect pearls and water) that I made.

I loved this sketch because it didn't require a lot of emblishments. I guess I'm what you might call a "clean" scrapper. I prefer things simple and pretty and for the photos to be the center of attention. This challenge was perfect for me and I really enjoyed making my daughter's first pages.
Here are some close-ups. You can actually see some of the sparkle and the inking around the edges of the flower. Also, I made the matching brad for the flower with my i-top.

So, here it is, my first sketch challenge.
This layout is from the Imaginisce challenge.
The paper is from the Imaginisce Baby Powder collection. I think it turned out pretty good for my first challenge. This was fun! I did a some new things and I got a page done in my son's book and that's always good.

Here are the card and frame I made for my sister who loves carebears. I had quite the time finding just the right picture to do this and I wasn't sure if it was gonna work but I don't think it turned out too bad. I recently bought a few copics to try them out and was able to use a few on these and I think I"m hooked! I can't wait to play around with them some more!

I finally managed to get this frame done for my sister. This was such a learning process but considering it's only the 2nd one I've done I don't think it turned out too bad. At least I've learned some do's and don'ts for next time. Now I just have to make the small frame and a card don't by tonight...guess I'll be up late again.

So, I ordered the new cricut Princess cartridge yesterday and it's already on it's way....can't wait to get it! Doesn't waiting for something you really want just suck. I'm hoping to have a productive craft day today as I've already managed to get most of my chores done and I'm working on several projects. One of my projects is putting pics on canvas and emblishing that...I've never done it before but I like the idea of it...we'll see how it goes. Well, I'd better get to it. ..

So I'm new to this bloging thing and nobody will probably read this but i was thinking about entering a contest and to my suprise you had to have a blog to do it. I'm thirty years old and though I was once computer savvy I am not any longer. I'm now the old lady kids will laugh at really have no clue what I'm doing. I use to be a quick learner so maybe I'll get lucky and things will go well. In the end I'm hoping this will turn out to be a good outlet for me as I've been living in Oklahoma for 1 year now and I haven't made a singe friend and will most likely leave in two years or less...'Oh the life of a military wife! Well, ta ta for now and if you found this I'm sorry but hopefully you at least got a little chuckle out of it. I will try to do better.
