Christmas All Year Long with Magnolia-Licious!

Edited to Add: Made some changes...crackle paint on flowers and 2 more flowers to the grouping.

Goodmorning Everyone! It's the August 25th and time for another Christmas All Year Long blog hop with Magnolia-Licious. If you've just happend upon my blog and want to start at the begining go here. I've got a lot of pics to share with you today so I'll try to keep the jabber short. I've made a T-Slide card today...it's also the Magnolia-Licious Highlights challenge, and was tons of fun to make! Below you'll find a few different views of the card and I should note that it's not meant to have a regular card base, but if I'm gonna take the time to do all that I wanna be able to write something in there.

The Merrie Merrie was actually on the paper already, I just managed to be able to cut it out just right. I did, however, stamp "Christmas"...don't think I've done an easier sentiment, lol

Of course there has to be a close-up of Tilda, I just love this stamp!

Pretty flowers from Wild Orchid. The edges of the cardstock are distressed with Tim Holtz Distress crackel paint in Picket Fence.

Here are the new flowers with crackle paint...thanks to a commenter catching my miswording that the flowers were painted b4, giving me the idea to paint them..Thanks!

The whole card was sprayed with glimmer mist.

Well, that's it for me...I'll had some links and add a little more info later, but it's after 3am and I gotta get to bed. Next stop on the hop is Carissa and I'm sure she'll have something fabulous for you. Thanks for stopping by!
Added: Sorry about the extra pics, but I thought it would be nice to show how the slightest change can make the biggest difference! Now, I'm really happy with the card and I'm loving this crackel paint, this is the first time I've used it...so much fun!

Ok, so here is where you can find the tutorial for this card and I also followed Suzanne's measurements(thanks Suzanne :)) which can be found here. I think I've filled in any missing info now, please feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Have a great day!

xxAutumn

Hey Autumn! I love this card. The details are awesome. I have wanted to put crackle paint on my flowers too, but my crackle paint is so thick, I can barely work with it. I wonder if it can be thinned down a bit....hmmmm....
