Hello everyone! It's time again for another challenge over at Southern Girls. This week we have a theme and we want to see some Glittery creations! You may have noticed I LOVE my stickles, so this one was tons of fun for me!
This weeks sponsors are Karen Rogers(stampin' up demo) for AUS/NZ and a $10 gift voucher from Shirley's 2 Girls for Int.
On to my card...
I'm feeling a little Christmasy lately...probably cause I'm getting ready to go visit my fam back in MN and the Holiday's are sneaking up on us. I got a bit a of a late start on this card, but lucky for me this little lady was all colored up already so just just had to figure out what i was gonna do for everything else. BELIEVE ME, that is no small task for me. This one did come together relatively quickly, but it took FOR E-V-E-R for the stickles to dry! Thus, I was up til almost 4am this morning working one it! On a happy note I did get to use up some scraps...YAY!!
My card follows the current sketch at MDUC...I wasn't sure about it at first, but really enjoyed it in the end. I got the turn-page flower idea from a card I saw on my teamie Michelle's blog. Her card is gorgeous, you should go check it out(here)!
A close-up of Tilda. Sorry, I don't remember what colors I used for her. She is sitting on a cupcake doily.
Different views of the flowers...Well, I think that about does it. If I've missed anything and you've got a question please feel free to ask and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the DT have made for you! I look forward to seeing your creations!
Have a great day!
xxAutumn

Your card is stunning Autumn. I love what you did with the flowers. They look frosted almost. The turned down corner is something I remember seeing on someone else's blog this past summer and I had to try it. So I only deserve CASEing kudos for that one. :)
