...Tilda!! Oh' it has been some time now since I've inked up one of my darling Tilda's. I haven't stopped buying them mind you, lol. I wanted to enter the Challenge and Dt call over at Simon Says and I came up with this...
I believe she is called Tilda with ribbons in her hair. When I saw her I just had to have her. At least she's gotten inked, most of my Christmas cuties didn't get touched. I had big plans for them, but if you follow my blog at all there's was tons of sickness going on around my household after Thanksgiving and I'm lucky we had Christmas at all.
Anyway, enough about that Simon Says wants us to use Coffee and Cream...You can see those, but I just got this new BoBunny Crazy Love pack in the mail and so wanted to use it...figured a few extra colors would be ok. I also followed the current sketch this week at Just magnolia.
The outside of this card is actually framing the inside sentiment. Which reads:
Sweet Birthday Wishes
for
Sweet, Wonderful
You!
for
Sweet, Wonderful
You!
...and was computer generated.
Here is that darling Tilda a wee bit closer. I wanted to keep her quite light and originally thought R20,00,000 would do it, but turns out it wasn't quite pink enough, so I added some RV00,& Rv10 and perfection!! IMP, anyway. Her Legs(tights for me) were colored with E50 and E0000 then gone over with 0 to make them a touch lighter. As a finishing touch to the dress i lightened parts of it with 0. I used R27,24,22,20 and thought it was a little too reddish, so I added RV13(I think, was certain till I started typing in cudda been 14)to make it a little strawberryish in color. The flower is RV14,13,10
Here are the flowers. Worked on this for a while...mostly just moving it around the page, just couldn't decide where I wanted it to go. In the end it landed here and I felt like it needed more and that's how the folded ribbons underneath came about.
The theme this week over a Magnolia Down Under is flowers so I'm going to be entering there as well. I may find a few more and as usual you'll find my complete challenge listing below.
I guess this had gotten kind of long today, sorry about that. Hope you all are having a wonderful and and your week is off to a fabulous start!
Thanks for stopping by!

The dtail in this is incredible & I wish you all teh best for the DT call. Those ribbons on the floral spray are amazing - they really highlight the scallops of the cirle & you encouraged me no end with your description of the creative process - I take hours just moving bits about. Amazing curly hair colouring too.

Autumn (love your name), what a beautiful card. Am loving this so adorable Tilda—beautifully coloured. I didn’t get her and now debating with myself to put here in my next order or not…sigh. Love the window idea and that fan of ribbons behind the gorgeous flowers looks fabulous.
