Hello everyone! It's time again for another challenge over at Creative Inspirations and this week Suzi has chosen the theme of Glitter, Glamour, Girlie! This should be an easy one for you so I bet we see a lot of entries. This beauty here is Tilda blowing bubbles from the fairytale collection. I've been meaning to use her for some time, but she's quite a large stamp and has had me a little stumped. Luckily, this weeks Just Magnolia sketch was perfect for this image!
When I first pulled her out I was thinking Girlie so Pink of course came to mind and this is sooo not pink, lol! I decided to do things a little differently this time around and actually pick out my papers B4 I colored her up...this really saved me a lot of headache...I love to color so I tend to get carried away with it! Anyway, I fell in love with that blue/green paper and this was born.
Here's a close-up. Idk if you can tell, but I've actually stamped her off on some sparkly paper (DCWV pearl shimmer cardstock) so she shines all over...think you can see it best in the upper right hand corner of this pic. This paper was a little difficult to color on...my dark brown didn't blend as well as I'd like in some parts, but I'll keep working on it. I think as long as you stay away from dark colors and don't use too many layers it will be fine and not not nearly as expensive as the cryogen paper that some use.
The flowers are wild orchid which I colored to match. So glad I decided to buy some white ones with my last purchase, that was a very good decision. Well, I think that about does it.
