Simply Said and a Digi Sentiment 4U

Hello All!! I'm finally back! Hope you all are off to a wonderful week! It's bright and sunny where I'm at, so hopefully the chores don't take too long today. Anyway, today I have my Simply Sassy Dt inspiration post to share with you and that is this...

This image is called 'Call Me' and is available at Funky Kits here. I've left it CAS because I see this going to a man and they're generally not into all the fru fru stuff. The sentiment is mine and I'm now thinking it may be a bit large, but it doesn't look that big IRL, so I think this is just one of those cards that doesn't photograph well. The pretty papers are from BoBunny's Gabrielle line and the lace is from my stash. All of the papers have been distressed and inked and that's pretty much it.

Here's a close up. She is colored with copics and the background is done with chalks. Sorry I don't have a copic list for you as she's been colored up for some time. I'm personally very happy with the background and hope I can repeat it sometime and it's not a one hit wonder, lol.

Lastly, I will share with you my sentiment. It's not perfect, but if you like it, here you go. Clicking it should take you to a larger size to save to your computer. Please don't pass it off as your own and refer people back to my blog if they'd like one.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
xxAutumn

The combiantion of kraft cardstock & kraft coloured lace is delightful & I love your placing of the sentiment in that corner. The colours of the striped paper are picked out beautifully & that shaddow under her foot is striking. The balance of the white phone with the white slippers is also rather eye-catching & I love how you've attached the charm & the way it leads the eye down towards the image & balances the sentiment - which I think needs to be that size covering the layers of papers & lace. Oops - seem to have managed an essay again; there was so much to excite in this & I love the way you create your own custom sentiments. Hope you've managed to enjoy some sunshine.
