Been so busy getting my shelves restocked and my kids back on some sort of schedule I completely forgot to make a couple of posts. So, 1 was my Sassy Dt Inspiration for this week and that was this...
It's a bookmark with a special little twist...
...It's magnetic!! I'm not a big fan of tassles and my 2yr old is, so I had to think a little outside the box here. Lucky for me I had some thin magnetic sheets lying around so I cut and extra strip of paper for the back of the bookmark, folded it, then added magnets to the insides and taped that to the back of the bookmark. There you have it, and easy peasy bookmark that won't fall out!!
Receipe:
Stamp: Guinevere by Simply Sassy for Sugar Nellie
BoBunny butterfly stamp from Gabrielle collection
Background words stamp by Glitz Design
Tim Holtz Distressor
lace from stash
thin magnet sheet
Ok, secondly, a new challenge started Wednesday over at Southern Girls and the theme is anything goes. The two fabulous sponsors this week are The Stamp Fairy and Simply Betty so I'm sure you won't want to miss out on getting one of those prizes.
That should be everything I forgot. Life should be back to normal next week, but be sure to tune in tomorrow as were having a Simply Sassy new release blog hop and I'm sure you won't want to miss that!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
xxAutumn

I do like this - the colours are super together & I had to laugh for I was commenting in reverse on the Sassy blog & had to wonder if this pink & kraft is the new colour trend? Brilliant idea with the magnetic sheets & definitely two-year-old-pull-out-of-book proof. Glad that you're home again & with your own things about you & getting back to some kind of normality. Take care of yourself & don't overdo things.
Much love
